Suspicious Shooting at Texas Capitol Results in Lockdown www.infowars.com prisonplanet.tv January 21, 2010 The Texas Capitol building was placed on lockdown Thursday after a man fired shots on the south steps. A call to the Texas Department of Public Safety by the Alex Jones Show identified the suspect as a 24-year old man from Houston. Police arrest man accused of opening fire at the Capitol in Austin, Texas. Note officer at left with handgun, presumably a Glock semi-automatic. His name has not yet been released to the public, and a motive for the shooting was not immediately known, MyFox Houston later reported. State Senator Dan Patrick posted on his Twitter account that the man had entered his office at the Capitol prior to the shooting incident. An individual came into my Austin Senate office today acting strangely, staff called security, moments later shots fired on Capitol steps, Patrick wrote. It is not known if the man acting strangely in Patricks office was the same man who fired the shots moments later. A witness on the scene said she heard police say there might be another suspect on the buildings third floor, according to the Houston Chronicle. Alex Jones said on his nationally syndicated radio show today he believes it is highly suspicious the police did not shoot the man.
